Dr. Ringler has been practicing reproductive medicine for 28 years with California Fertility Partners in Los Angeles, Ca. Their team of experts are leaders in their field and have the care and experience required to help their patients have babies.
The first babies at California Fertility Partners are now thirty years old and having families of their own. “That’s a beautiful feeling” said Dr. Ringler, “The most gratifying aspect of my career is always the joy on my patients’ faces when they hear the news they are pregnant, and the kind heartfelt letters of thanks I receive after the birth of their children. It’s always a joy to meet the children that I have helped bring to the world.”
One thing I have personally always loved about Dr. Ringler are his stories, the moments he’s had with his patients throughout his career: “There have been many magical moments: my first pregnancy, my most recent pregnancy; attending the baptism of one of my babies at the Vatican; sharing my knowledge with colleagues and patients at international conferences including London, Barcelona, Madrid, Tokyo, and many cities in China, on fertility treatment options. Speaking at seminars in China about LGBT family building to packed lecture halls of excited intended parents. I feel fortunate to have a career that brings so much happiness to the world.”
Every clinical story is different and requires a thoughtful and detailed investigation. To help create the best outcomes for his patients, Dr. Ringler takes the time to listen carefully and thoroughly understand each case, during the initial evaluation, as well during the treatment cycle. Making clinical decisions on data that he’s collected provides an opportunity to fine-tune a patient’s treatment to optimize results. Fertility treatment is not all science. By spending time with his patients to answer all their questions and address their concerns he feels he can help make the process less stressful and provide the highest chance for success.
As a gay physician, he is also deeply committed to inclusivity and diversity, helping all people who will love and care for children, to create families of their own. In a national ethics conference for assisted reproduction, Dr. Ringer created a standard of practice for inclusivity for our LGBTQ community. Additionally, he co-wrote a chapter for the Insiders Guide to Egg Donation: A Compassionate and Comprehensive Guide for all Parents-To-Be with Wendie Wilson-Miller that won the LGBTQ Gold Medal Ben Franklin award.
Dr. Ringler feels that there is no greater joy than helping intended parents build the family they have always dreamed of. His international patients provide him an opportunity to experience diverse cultures and traditions. Many of his patients are global, and he feels, “While we may not all speak the same first language, we do all understand the universal human spirit of compassion, commitment, love and understanding.”
When we asked Dr. Ringler’s advice for new intended parents starting this journey, he suggested, “As you start your journey, select a doctor and team that has a strong track record of satisfied patients and will, therefore, be best positioned to provide you with the right care to ensure the best outcome.” As a little extra personal touch, he promised, “If you work with me, you can email me any time: GRingler@californiafertilitypartners.com.”
We love you, Dr. Ringler. Keep up the beautiful work.
